Karen has worked within the audiology profession since 1993, having previously worked within the NHS. She embarked on her audiological career originally joining as Practice Manager for an independent hearing centre.
She set up her own award-winning practice in Ipswich town centre in 1998, and over a 22 year period grew that business to a team of 25 staff, looking after patients from 26 clinics across Suffolk and Norfolk. In 2020, Karen sold the business due to health and family issues just before Covid arrived.
Karen is one of the leading audiologists in the UK and is a past President and a Fellow of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). She is very personable, practical and knowledgeable in the hearing field of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. She loves being involved with the latest hearing technology and never ceases to be amazed by new hearing technology.
Karen has won several national and local awards over the years for her dedication to her profession, her entrepreneurialism and her high levels of patient care.

Teresa is a long-standing childhood friend of Karen's. Teresa worked for Karen's previous company in 1999 and retrained to become an Audiologist shortly after. She spent over 20 years looking after patients across both Suffolk and Norfolk.

Jenette began her Audiology career in 2015, pursuing a degree in the field at university. Since then, she worked alongside Karen as an Audiologist at her previous business, and has also worked as an Audiology Trainer for one of the world's leading hearing aid manufacturers.
Jenette loves to take the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns, and give them the best possible care she can for their hearing needs. Why I love my job: The satisfaction, personal pride and joy you experience when someone who hasn’t been able to hear very well for some time, perhaps even years, says they can finally hear the things that personally matter to them, such as family conversation or birdsong. That really does take some beating!

"A big thank you to Karen for turning my life around and giving me the ability to hear in a way I didn’t think was possible.
This is just the start of better hearing and a big confidence boost. My only regret is that I didn't make an appointment with Karen years ago."
