We are very pleased to announce our first charity quiz night for 2025, which is being held on Sunday 16th March 2025 at Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre (Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave, Ipswich IP5 1JF), with a start time of 7.00pm.
Teams can include between 4 – 6 members and entry is £6 per person.
The event welcomes teams of all abilities to put their knowledge to the test while enjoying a friendly, but competitive atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned quizzer or just looking for a great night out in support of an important cause, this is an event not to be missed.
On the night there will be a licenced bar, big screen displaying all of the questions, and plenty of prizes to be won during the quiz itself and as part of a big raffle, thanks to the generous support from local businesses.
The charity we will be raising money for this time will be Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

About our charity - Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a UK-based charity dedicated to transforming the lives of deaf individuals by providing specially trained assistance dogs. Since its founding in 1982, the charity has trained thousands of dogs to support people with hearing loss, offering them greater independence, confidence, and companionship.
Hearing dogs are expertly trained to alert their deaf partners to important sounds such as doorbells, alarm clocks, smoke alarms, and even baby monitors. By responding to these sounds, the dogs help their owners stay safe and aware of their surroundings. Beyond practical assistance, these dogs also provide emotional support, reducing feelings of isolation and improving overall well-being.
Each dog undergoes an extensive training program, where they learn to recognize key sounds and respond in a way that benefits their deaf partner. Breeds commonly used include Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and Cocker Spaniels, chosen for their intelligence, temperament, and trainability.
Through their life-changing work, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People continues to break down barriers and improve the lives of deaf individuals across the UK.
